It has been an incredible week. Patron is flying me to Mexico next week to view their distillery. Can't wait to see the process of making Tequila. I am also going to be going to New York at some point to set up a cocktail program and train one of the bars for the Thompson Hotel in the Lower East Side. And tomorrow, I am going to visit Modern Spirits, the makers of Organic Tru vodka and gin where they are going to teach us how to make our own bitters which will add a great dimension to what I am doing. And I was very honored and nervous to have Vincenzo from Copo d' Oro stop by my bar last night. I consider him the best around and I think his bar is the best in LA. What's most unbelievable to me is how much attention I have been getting in such a short period of time. I have only been bartending for three years and The Library Bar is the first bar that I have ever worked in. I have only really been doing mixology for about 9 months but I have such an incredible passion for it and just want to keep growing and learning all the time! Can't wait until the fall and all the goodies that will be available. Roasted pumpkin and roasted chestnut bourbon anyone?
