It's always a challenge to go to the farmers market and to see things with fresh eyes. I often find myself rushing through trying to gather up everything that is on my menu. Peaches are slowly getting out of season and apples will be my newest challenge. Still not sure what I'll be doing with those yet. I know that I prefer the concord grapes over the Kyoyo. But when I stumbled over to Maggie's farm to pick up my lemon verbena, I found a new friend. This stunning bouquet of flowering amaranth that will be perfect for garnishes. I love how I am constantly surprised with what the farmers have to offer and equally astonished that there is no limit to what I am going to find in the future. Can't wait to see people's reactions tonight!
